Health Care: Our medical assisting program prepares you to fulfill this role in a variety of medical settings. You are not only trained in theory but have hands-on experience in clinical labs featuring the same kinds of equipment found in medical offices. After completing the academic phase of the program, the student will have supervised externship experiences in physicians' offices, selected departments, or other medical facilities.

Technology: Learn the need-to-know technologies at PIHT for a successful career in Computer Technology. We know what employers are looking for and we have contacts throughout the area to help you start your new career. The Computer Technology program was designed to introduce the student to installation and configuration of system and application software.Students will also build, maintain, repair and upgrade PCs. Additionally, students will study equally important topics like troubleshooting skills to resolve hardware and software issues, ethics, network fundamentals and server management.
